Job summary
Jobot is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer EIT/PE to join our team in a hybrid role serving institutional and commercial projects. You will leverage AutoCAD and Revit to develop power and lighting designs, coordinate with architecture and MEP disciplines, and mentor junior staff.
Ideal candidates have 5–8+ years in engineering consulting, a BS/MS in Electrical or Architectural Engineering, EIT, and a PE license.
Qualifications
- BS/MS in Electrical or Architectural Engineering required.
- EIT certification required; PE license desired.
- 5-8+ years in engineering consulting.
- Experience with electrical power, lighting, fire alarm, and building systems.
- Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit.
- Ability to mentor junior staff and lead projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop electrical designs from concept through construction completion.
- Prepare engineering calculations, layouts, and reports.
- Coordinate electrical design with architecture, mechanical, and other disciplines.
- Lead and manage MEP projects for institutional and commercial buildings.
