Job summary

David Evans and Associates, Inc. (DEA) seeks an Electrical Designer, Distribution to support overhead and underground distribution projects for utility clients in the Pacific Northwest. You will work under experienced engineers to develop designs for power delivery systems.

The role offers growth in a collaborative energy team, with opportunities for mentorship, travel to field sites, and exposure to low- to high-voltage infrastructure. Bellevue-area locations are a focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar
• EIT certification or active path toward PE licensure preferred
• Experience with electric utility, power delivery, or electrical distribution projects beneficial
• Proficiency with drafting/software and ability to prepare clear project documents

Responsibilities

• Assist design and development of overhead and underground distribution systems
• Prepare engineering plans, drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Perform engineering calculations and quantity takeoffs
• Support field investigations and data collection activities
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, designers, and utility clients to deliver solutions
• Help maintain project schedules and budgets
