Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. seeks an Electrical Designer to support modular manufacturing projects in a remote capacity across multiple sites.

You will design Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls for capital projects, create drafting and fabrication drawings in Revit, and develop panel schedules and wiring diagrams. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's or Associate degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years' experience in design or manufacturing engineering, with strong knowledge of API,

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years' experience in a Design or Manufacturing Engineering role.
• 5+ years' experience with Electrical, Instrumentation or Controls installation.
• Strong knowledge of API, NEC, NFPA, IEEE standards.
• Ability to develop solutions and collaborate across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls design for capital projects.
• Create client issue drawings and fabrication drawings using Revit.
• Develop electrical Revit families and components.
• Prepare single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, interconnection schedules, and panel schedules.
• Design and coordinate MCCs, switchboards, panelboards, PDUs, CDUs, PLC systems, and fire alarm systems.
• Provide engineering support to operations and maintenance as needed.
