Job summary

HKA Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Designer to prepare electrical drawings and perform basic design for electrical power, life safety, and telecommunications supporting semiconductor manufacturing projects.

You will use AutoCAD and follow electrical design criteria while coordinating with engineers and package design leads to balance workload under tight deadlines. The role is hybrid, requiring collaboration across a multi-disciplinary team, with proximity to Portland-area locations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in electrical design and layout requirements, including one-line diagrams, riser diagrams, and electrical plan-view drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, organization, and self-performance skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of situations, including a remote environment.

PAY: $29.00/hr - $45.50/hr DOE LOCATION: Within reasonable driving distance of Portland, OR; Hillsboro, OR; Corvallis, OR; Tempe, AZ; or Pittsburgh, PA WORK TYPE: Hybrid SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in semiconductor or similar industrial facilities.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid position.

Candidates must reside within reasonable driving distance of at least one of the following locations: Portland, OR; Hillsboro, OR; Corvallis, OR; Tempe, AZ; or Pittsburgh, PA.

The role may require periodic travel to client sites. Site work requires field mobility, including walking for surveys, stairs, access platforms, and protective wear. Candidates must pass a background check and drug screening.
