Opti Staffing Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer for our SE Portland client. The role emphasizes design and drafting using Revit and AutoCAD, with field support as needed.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in electrical design, strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D and AutoCAD Electrical, and the ability to meet deadlines while coordinating with engineers and clients in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years design experience.
• 2-4 years in a related industry.
• AutoCAD Certificate or minimum of 5 years proven AutoCAD experience.
• Proficient with Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Electrical Engineer to create designs consistent with industry standard practices, client requirements and conformance to Codes & Standards
• Generate design and drawings including plans
• Interact with Clients to convey project design and identify scope changes
• Reviews project/discipline deliverables for compliance with industry accepted design principles, company standards and customer contract specifications
• Interacts with other departments and suppliers to obtain pertinent information
• Proficient with AutoCAD 2D and 3D, Auto/CAD Electrical.

What You’ll Do

We are seeking an experienced electrical designer who is proficient with Revit and AutoCAD, can stay on top of deadlines, and provide field support when needed.
