Job summary

Mission Critical Group (MCG) is seeking an Electrical Designer to support the development and execution of electrical systems and control panel designs for our manufacturing operations. In this role you will create electrical design packages, select components, prepare detailed schematics, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure design intent is carried through to production.

Responsibilities

• Create designs specific to low voltage switchgear assemblies/systems, replacement breakers, and related equipment.
• Work under the supervision of electrical engineers to develop electrical schematics, panel layout, and wiring diagrams that meet customer, manufacturing, regulatory, and project requirements.
• Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), wire lists, and terminal block drawings.
• Follow and develop standard design processes and documentation to improve quality and efficiency in engineering design.
• Support engineering change orders (ECOs) and revise existing designs to improve manufacturability, cost, or performance.
• Maintain proper version control and documentation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Education and Experience

• Associates orBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design Technology, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in electrical drafting or design, preferably in switchgear or related industry.
• Strongproficiencywith AutoCAD Electrical.
• Experience using AutoCAD and/or Inventor.
• Hands-on experience in panel building and wiring.
• Experience in the design of electrical switchgear, UL891, and UL1558.
• Satisfactory completion ofadditionalbackground screening.
