Job summary

Mission Critical Group (MCG) is seeking an Electrical Designer to support the development of electrical systems and control panel designs for our manufacturing operations. You will create electrical design packages, select components, prepare detailed schematics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design intent is carried through to production.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical drafting or design, preferably in switchgear.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Create designs for LV and MV switchgear assemblies per standards.
• Develop electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams.
• Create and maintain BOMs, wire lists, and terminal drawings.
• Support ECOs and redesigns to improve manufacturability and cost.
• Maintain parts databases and symbol libraries.
• Produce as-built drawings from production markups.
• Ensure version control and documentation.
