Job summary

TempWorks Software Incorporated seeks an Electrical Designer with 10+ years of experience in Oil & Gas, refinery, and chemicals sectors to lead 2D drafting using AutoCAD and SPI. You will develop I&E deliverables, coordinate with site operations and multi-discipline teams, and ensure compliance with NEC/NFPA and API standards while interfacing with team in India.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Certificate in Instrumentation and Electrical Design is required.
• Strong working knowledge of Electrical and Instrumentation design codes including NEC/NFPA, API standards.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and SPI software.
• EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) / EPCm experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instrumentation and Electrical Designer with 2D drafting, SPI and InTools experience.
• Knowledge of Field Instrumentation, Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Layout drawings, Hook-up Drawings, JB Drawings and Control room FTA is highly desirable.
• Experience in Electrical design especially low voltage (below 480V) and development of Area Classification drawings, One line diagrams, Earthing/Grounding Layout, Power drawings layout.
• Work directly with site operations, technicians, and project teams to develop scope of work for LTTS.
• Communicate with site project engineer, site document controller, operations and team for project requirements.
• Develop detailed design drawings for I&E deliverables using AutoCAD and SPI.
• Interface with design team in India for project scope discussions and Design Review discussions.
• Work with vendors for vendor-specific items and update I/E drawings.
• Quality Review and Validation of final deliverables before submission to client.
• Ensure site safety and health protocols are followed.
• Interface and coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines to meet project design requirements and effectively manage data and design changes.

Must have specific experience in Electrical Design Instrumentation & Electrical Designer with 10+ years of experience of AutoCAD 2D Design, InTools and SPI in compliance with API Standards codes and NFPA standards in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Chemicals & other associated industries.

• A. Instrumentation and Electrical Designer experienced 2D drafting, SPI and InTools experience
• B. Knowledge of Field Instrumentation, Loop Drawings, Instrumenation Layout drawings, Hook-up Drawings, JB Drawings and Control room FTA is highly desirable.
• C. Experience in Electrical design specially in low voltage (below 480V) is preferred. Experience in developing Area Classification drawing, One line diagram, Earthing/ Grounding Layout, Power drawings layout
