Job summary

L&T Technology Services (LTTS) is hiring an Instrumentation & Electrical Designer in Corpus Christi, TX. You will produce 2D drawings, tackle instrument loops, and deliver I&E deliverables for oil, gas, and refining projects in collaboration with LTTS teams.

Seeking 10+ years in AutoCAD 2D, InTools/SPI experience, NEC/NFPA knowledge, and EPC/EPCm exposure. Strong coordination with operations and vendors is essential for successful project execution.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in Instrumentation and Electrical Design.
• Strong working knowledge of NEC/NFPA, API standards.
• Experience in EPC/EPCm projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop I&E detailed design drawings using AutoCAD and SPI.
• Coordinate with LTTS design team and site teams to align scope.

Job Description & Skill Requirement

:Instrumentation & Electrical Designer with 10+ years of experience of AutoCAD 2D Design, InTools and SPI in compliance with API Standards codes and NFPA standards in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Chemicals & other associated industrie s. A. Instrumentation and Electrical Designer experienced 2D drafting, SPI and InTools experien nceB. Knowledge of Field Instrumentation, Loop Drawings, Instrumenation Layout drawings, Hook-up Drawings, JB Drawings and Control room FTA is highly desirab le.C. Experience in Electrical design specially in low voltage (below 480V) is preferred. Experience in developing Area Classification drawing, One line diagram, Earthing/ Grounding Layout, Power drawings lay outD. Responsible for working directly with site operations, technicians, and project teams to develop scope of work for LTTSE. Communicate with site project engineer, site document controller, operations and LTTS team for project requireme ntsF. Develop detailed design drawings for I&E deliverables using AutoCAD and S PI.H. Interface with LTTS design team in India to coordinate about for project scope dicsussions and Design Review discussi onsI. Work with vendors for any vendor specific items and update the relevant I/E drawin gs.J.Quality Review and Validation of final deliverables before submission to clie nt.K. Ensure site safety and health protocols are follo wedL.Interface and coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines to meet project design requirements and effectively manage the internal flow of data and design chang es. Minimum proficiencies and qualificat ions: Diploma / Certificate in Instrumentation and Electrical Design is requiredStrong working knowledge of Electrical and Instrumentation design codes, including NEC/ NFPA, API standards. Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and SPI soft ware. EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) / EPCm experience is prefe rred.The expected salary range for this position is between $77,500 and $150,000 annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
