Innova Solutions is hiring an Electrical Designer for a Camden, NJ area contract role. The position offers full-time hours with a 9/80 schedule and 8am start, with a 6+ month duration and potential contract-to-hire. You will develop complex PWB/Flex designs, perform placement, routing, and documentation, and work within a team that values innovation.

An active secret clearance is required. Ideal candidates have 2+ years with Mentor Graphics Expedition and CES, part library management experience,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Mentor Graphics Expedition and CES experience
• Experience managing a reusable electrical part library
• Experience capturing electrical part geometries and symbols
• Experience with high-speed Printed Wiring Board and Flex Circuit design requirements
• Experience with IPC Standards concerning PWB/Flex design and assembly

Responsibilities

• Develop complex printed wiring designs as part of an integrated development team
• Place circuit card assembly parts, route parts and document PWB/Flex designs

Job description

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Electrical Designer. Position Type: Full Time Contract, Possible Contract to hire Duration: 6+ months Location: Camden, NJ, 08103 Shift: 9/80 Schedule, 8am Start

As anElectrical Designer you will be:

• A part of the integrated development team and be responsible for development of complex printed wiring designs.
• Position requires the ability to perform placement of circuit card assembly parts, routing of parts and documentation of state-of-the-art multi-layer SMT and BGA blind via digital, analog high speed printed wiring boards and flex circuits, following military and commercial PWB design, and drawing standards.
• Design part geometries and symbols; prepare schematic/logic diagrams, board fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, parts lists, and wiring diagrams.
• This position requires an individual that can work in a collaborative environment that fosters innovation and apply the principles to develop creative solutions.
• Active secret clearance required

Ideal Candidate will have:

• 2 Plus years of Mentor Graphics Expedition and CES experience
• Experience with managing a reuse electrical part library
• Experience capturing electrical part geometries and symbols
• Experience with high-speed Printed Wiring Board and Flex Circuit design requirements
• Experience with IPC Standards concerning PWB/Flex design and assembly

Preferred Skills:

• HDI and sequentially laminated printed wiring board layout, routing and documentation techniques.
• ASME Drawing Standards

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $55 to $60/per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
