Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking an Electrical & Avionics Support Technician for a 12-month contract, onsite in Saint Louis, MO. The role performs basic electrical tasks, including soldering and wiring repair, using diagnostic tools to support broader project goals.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical systems with emphasis on safety and quality, and maintaining accurate documentation. W-2 employment is required for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience with small-gauge wiring and terminations.
• Basic soldering experience required or preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems.
• Electrical certification or training (FCC or similar) preferred.

Job description

Electrical & Avionics Support Technician – Position type: Full-time, Contract. Duration: 12 Months with possible extension/conversion. Location: Saint Louis, MO – Onsite.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic electrical tasks including minor soldering, wire harness repair, and component testing.
• Work with small-gauge wiring (toothpick-sized) using meters and diagnostic tools.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems with a focus on quality and safety.
• Collaborate with team members to support broader project goals – no task is too small.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with electrical wiring especially Small-Gauge Wiring, Termination & Harness etc.
• Basic Soldering experience.
• Experience in troubleshooting and repair of electrical system.
• Any Electrical/Electronic certification or training such as FCC etc is highly preferred.
• Qualified candidates must be able to be engaged on a W-2 basis.

Pay Range and Benefits

Pay Range*: $30/hr to $37/hr *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
