Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a Design Technician to support a range of electric distribution design projects, including overhead and underground work. You will be part of a collaborative team, performing drafting, calculations, and permit package development to ensure high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Associates in Drafting, Design or other technical focus.
• Established professional computer skills; aptitude for quickly learning new software.
• Experience working on projects related to distribution design.
• Willingness to travel locally or regionally as needed; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Performing design tasks for overhead and underground electric utility projects, including drafting, calculations, and permit package development.
• Manage multiple projects to ensure timely completion and high customer satisfaction.
• Travel to utility and customer locations for site visits and inspections, identifying issues and recommending improvements.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues and perform repairs or replacements as needed.
