Job summary
Black & Veatch is seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for water and wastewater projects, guiding project teams across California and nationwide. You will act as a technical expert on power distribution and plant electrical systems, supporting client consultations and project execution.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering; PE preferred.
- 5+ years in electrical design, planning and construction services.
- Water/wastewater experience preferred.
- Experience with medium/low voltage power distribution equipment.
- Client-facing/business development experience a plus.
- Power system analysis experience in SKM, ETAP, or other analysis software a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design for water/wastewater projects.
- Provide technical guidance on client standards to staff in regional design centers.
- Serve as technical expert in electrical power distribution and plant electrical systems for client consultations.
- Support business development related to enhanced Electrical services.
- Build business relationships with clients to understand needs and drivers.
