Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Approximately 2–5 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with detailed electrical engineering and design.
• Understanding of the engineering design lifecycle from development through detailed design and completion.
• Ability to review and evaluate electrical engineering designs and deliverables.
• Strong understanding of electrical power systems and equipment.
• Ability to travel approximately 20–25% as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design portion of assigned projects.
• Coordinate and oversee detailed engineering work performed by third-party engineering and design firms.
• Monitor engineering progress and ensure design activities remain on schedule and aligned with project requirements.
• Review electrical engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, and other design deliverables.
• Coordinate with Mechanical Engineering and other disciplines to ensure integrated project execution.
• Support electrical power system studies and analysis.
• Identify design issues, gaps, and risks and independently follow up on actions needed to keep engineering work progressing.
• Communicate with external engineering firms to clarify requirements, resolve technical issues, and maintain design quality.
• Provide limited electrical engineering support during construction and commissioning.
• Support approximately one project initially, with responsibilities spanning approximately three project sites.
• Maintain strong communication with internal project teams, engineering partners, contractors, and other stakeholders.
