Job summary

Dialectic, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer/Designer to join our MEP team. The role focuses on creating accurate electrical layouts and schematics for diverse projects including business, retail, housing, education, and entertainment sectors.

Remote work is possible, with periodic site visits as needed. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience with Revit and Bluebeam Revu, strong knowledge of local codes, and the ability to collaborate across disciplines to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• Collaborate with staff to create accurate technical drawings and contribute to the design process.
• Attend client meetings and grow relationships with staff and clients.
• Work on site surveys and field inspections as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs calculations and designs engineering systems with a high degree of independence.
• Prepares basic to advanced electrical system layouts, detailed drawings and schematics.
• Coordinate design requirements and decisions with other disciplines and BIM department.
• Research feasibility and evaluate products for their application.
• Attend client meetings with project managers and senior staff.
• Assist with or oversee project coordination tasks and delivery.
• Travel for site surveys and field inspections as required.
• Serve as a reference for training others.
