Job summary

Starkey Hearing is seeking a dynamic leader to head the Electrical Design Analysis (EDA) function within Hardware Engineering. You will drive technical leadership, mentor engineers, and shape processes from concept through commercialization.

You will develop electrical hardware for hearing aids, oversee staff development, and ensure adherence to design best practices while collaborating with PMO and other R&D groups to advance product development.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of electrical engineering experience in a product development environment.
Minimum 1 year of management or supervisory experience.
Hearing industry or medical device industry experience preferred.
Proficiency in electrical design, mixed signal design, PCB layout, and related CAD tools.
Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and development of the EDA function within Hardware Engineering.
Drive technical leadership in the development of EDA processes and methods.
Manage EDA staff, including staffing, performance reviews, and career development.
Develop electrical hardware design of hearing aids and accessories with excellence.
Lead training and implementation of product development processes (SIPOC, Design Review, DFMEA).
Collaborate with PMO and R&D to drive process improvements.
Create and track department objectives and performance metrics.
Represent EDA Engineering to cross-functional teams within R&D and Operations.
