Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to provide strategic leadership for our engineering and virtual design teams nationwide.

You will guide design-build projects, enforce NEC/Life Safety compliance, and drive constructible, install-ready drawings using BIM/VD&C platforms. Lead multiple projects from preconstruction through design, overseeing budgets, schedules, and staff while promoting innovation, collaboration, and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• PE license or Revit certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop Electrical Design Engineers and VDC team members.
• Oversee workload planning, staffing, and professional development.
• Provide technical leadership for electrical system design and constructability.
• Coordinate BIM with architects and MEP partners; resolve spatial and installation challenges.
• Ensure NEC, IBC, IECC and life-safety code compliance in all designs.
• Drive value engineering and cost-saving opportunities in design solutions.
