Job summary

Direct Start is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with 5–10 years of experience to manage and lead electrical engineering design for industrial and manufacturing projects, serving as Engineer of Record.

The role includes developing work plans, design schedules, and fee estimates, providing department leadership, and ensuring compliance with electrical codes and standards.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of electrical engineering experience in industrial or manufacturing design.
• PE license (Professional Engineer) or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in CAD software and electrical design tools (AutoCAD, EPLAN, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of power systems, motor controls, and industrial electrical standards.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
