Job summary

Direct Start is seeking an Electrical Design Lead in Wisconsin to guide electrical design for complex industrial and manufacturing projects. You will oversee the electrical scope, ensure codes compliance, and serve as Engineer of Record for key assignments.

With 5–10 years of experience, you will lead design teams, develop work plans and schedules, mentor staff, and contribute to pursuits with accurate fee estimates while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of electrical engineering experience in industrial/manufacturing design.
• PE license (Professional Engineer) or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in CAD software and electrical design tools (AutoCAD, EPLAN, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of power systems, motor controls, and industrial electrical standards
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Excellent project management and communication skills
