Job summary

Advanced Conversion Technology (ACT) is seeking Electrical Engineering students for its Summer Internship Program in Middletown, PA. The interns will work in the Electrical Engineering department under the guidance of Senior Electrical Design Engineers and the Engineering Supervisor, gaining hands-on experience in prototype testing, BOM verification, and simulations.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a 4-year Electrical or Electronics Engineering degree
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Strong computer skills required

Responsibilities

• Perform bench testing and data compilation of prototype circuits
• Perform component stress calculations for new product development
• Research component availability and pricing
• Execute engineering procedures and test plans to verify accuracy
• Develop procedures and test plans for manufacturing
• Assist Engineers with day-to-day assignments and test fixturing
• Set up and tear down of test environments
• Perform BOM verification and costing tasks
• Perform simulations of analog and digital circuits
• Participate in software and firmware development and validation
