Job summary

Meridian Space seeks a hardware engineer to design and deliver flight hardware for a novel LEO broadband constellation. You will own the hardware lifecycle from concept through full qualification and in-orbit deployment, working with a small, cross-functional team in a fast-paced startup.

The role requires a strong background in electrical hardware, PCB design, and embedded considerations for space environments, with hands-on testing and debugging experience. ITAR compliance applies, and U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in electrical engineering or related field.
• Ability to work autonomously in a demanding startup environment.
• Schematic capture and PCB layout using EDA tools.
• 1+ years of designing and delivering hardware.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy high-performance flight hardware for the Meridian Space constellation.
• Own end-to-end hardware success from design to in-orbit readiness.
• Collaborate on design, testing, and production transfer for space-ready systems.
