ARCO/Murray Power Solutions in Downers Grove, Illinois, is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join the Power Solutions team. The role focuses on delivering turnkey solar and power solutions for large construction projects and coordinating design/build activities.

You will interface with clients, contractors and vendors, assist in budgeting and scheduling, and help design solar solutions using BIM-enabled tools.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in general contracting, EPC, or similar industry.
• Bonus: BIM experience with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Able to organize, plan and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results.

Responsibilities

• Deliver turnkey power solutions as part of the Power Solutions team.
• Assist with designing Solar solutions using in-house tools for design/build sales.
• Oversee equipment selection, buyouts, and logistics for full project scope.
• Interface with clients, contractors and vendors on technical issues.
• Develop and review project schedules and site logistics with supervision.
• Participate in budgeting, scheduling and staff management.
• Procure solar panels, inverters and power components from suppliers.
• Assist in business development for complex projects as part of a client-facing team.
