Job summary

ARCO is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for our Power Solutions team in Downers Grove, IL. The role focuses on delivering turnkey power solutions and supporting solar, CHP, and micro-grid projects within our design/build framework.

The candidate should have a BS in Electrical Engineering, EPC/contracting experience, and BIM familiarity (Revit/AutoCAD) to support project delivery and client-facing activities.

Qualifications

• Experience working in general contracting, EPC, or similar industry.
• Able to organize, plan and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results.
• Bonus: BIM experience with Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Be a key part of the Power Solutions team delivering turnkey power solutions to clients.
• Oversee design activities from preconstruction through project closeout.
• Assist with designing Solar solutions using in-house tools for design/build processes.
• Oversee equipment selection, buyout, and logistics for full project scope.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and vendors on technical issues.
