Job summary

L3Harris is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design, develop, integrate, test, and sustain electronics for maritime applications at its Northampton, Massachusetts site. The role covers concept through released hardware, system integration, production support, and fielded products.

It combines hands‑on circuit card assembly design with cross‑functional collaboration across systems, mechanical, software, firmware, and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent with strong EE fundamentals and product‑development experience.
• Experience deriving requirements, selecting components, and verifying hardware.
• EMI design knowledge for CCAs and subsystems; troubleshooting skills.
• Experience moving designs from concept to production and integration.
• Excellent written communication and cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mixed‑signal CCAs from requirements to production‑ready hardware.
• Review PCB layouts and coordinate with manufacturers on fabrication questions.
• Define test methods and aiding automation for hardware verification.
• Provide hardware bring‑up, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Mentor junior engineers and support design reviews and documentation.
