Job summary

RMF Engineering, based in Boston, MA, is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design electrical systems for building and utility infrastructure. The position offers a salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year and requires a BSEE with 3+ years of design experience, along with the ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities include power distribution, lighting design, low-voltage systems, load calculations, and field surveys with construction phase support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of electrical design experience.
• BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Professional registration or ability to obtain registration.

Responsibilities

• Power distribution: riser diagrams and panel schedules.
• Lighting design: fixture selection and controls.
• Low-voltage systems: fire alarm, security and controls.
• Calculate loads, fault current, and voltage drop.
• Field surveys and construction phase support.
