Job summary

IMEG in Raleigh, NC recruits an Electrical Engineering New Grad to assist with the design, analysis, and oversight of electrical systems for buildings. You will work with experienced engineers and consultants to support budgets, goals, and client expectations while contributing to project delivery.

Responsibilities include preparing designs and calculations, communicating with clients, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• EIT or equivalent required; internship in building design preferred.
• Familiar with design tools and building electrical systems software.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and analysis of electrical systems for buildings.
• Prepare designs, specifications, and calculations using engineering software.
• Support client interactions and gather project requirements.
• Document design decisions and project progress with senior staff.
• Contribute to project execution, planning, and scheduling to meet deadlines.
• Ensure designs meet IMEG standards and industry codes.
