Job summary

nVent is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to ensure the accuracy, quality, and intent of electrical project documentation. You will review schematics, prints, and EBOMs, ensure NEC compliance, and release drawings on schedule.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Project Management to support multiple active projects, answering design questions and guiding handoffs from external leads. Join a global leader in protective electrical solutions with a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in electrical build, systems, or manufacturing support preferred.
• Ability to read and review detailed schematics and prints.
• Experience with EBOMs and NEC compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own accuracy and release of electrical schematics, prints, and EBOMs.
• Lead detailed schematic and print reviews for customer submittals.
• Ensure NEC alignment and internal electrical standards.
• Support Production with design answers during build and test.
• Manage multiple active projects with minimal context switching.
• Assist with EBOM and print release tasks and long-lead material decisions.
