Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, seeks an Electrical Design Engineer (Mixed/Analog) on-site in Wichita, KS to design avionics power electronics and battery interfaces across the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities include analog front-end design, mixed-signal integration, component research, lab testing, documentation, and supporting manufacturing. Requires a BS in EE and 5+ years in analog/mixed-signal design; proficiency with PADS/LTSpice, EMI/EMC practices, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of analog and mixed-signal design experience.
• Proficiency with schematic capture/design & simulation tools and PCB layout software.
• Knowledge of signal integrity, impedance matching, and EMI/EMC design practices.

• Lead mixed-signal system integration, verifying reliable data conversion, filtering, and conditioning stages.

• Support manufacturing needs by designing/integrating tools for new products as required.

Location Wichita, United States Sector Engineering

Electrical Design Engineer (Mixed/Analog) — On-Site (Wichita, KS) Build electronics that fly. In this role, you’ll help design avionics, power electronics, and battery system interfaces used in high-performance, safety-critical aircraft applications—working across the full product lifecycle from concept and requirements through testing and certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement analog front-end circuits (amplifiers, ADC/DAC interfaces, filters) for accurate signal processing.
• Lead mixed-signal system integration, verifying reliable data conversion, filtering, and conditioning stages.
• Research and evaluate components, technologies, and methods for new and existing designs.

• Knowledge of signal integrity, impedance matching, and EMI/EMC design practices (e.g., RTCA DO-160 or MIL-STD-810/461).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Estimated Min Rate: $90000.00

Estimated Max Rate: $130000.00
