Job summary

G&W Electric Co. is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer II to design, integrate, and apply control cabinets and electrical components for G&W products.

You will work closely with multiple departments on hardware design, software programming for relays, and networking/cabling systems. This role offers a fast-paced environment with continual learning and problem-solving opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years' design experience.
• Experience creating drawings, models, assemblies, and schematics; Creo Schematics preferred.
• Strong collaboration skills to coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with Windows, Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Consult with Sales, Marketing, and customers on product requirements and specs.
• Provide engineering support to Manufacturing and Development.
• Establish product specifications and standards.
• Manage projects with minimal supervision.
• Guide a team of engineers in Product Engineering functions.
• Improve designs for manufacturability and cost without sacrificing quality.
• Prepare documentation of processes, test results, and activity.
