Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an Electrical Designer II to design and document electrical systems for water-cooled and air-cooled chillers. You will create schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts and supporting docs using CAD tools, reporting to a Lead Designer and collaborating with a Senior Designer for quality and continuous improvement.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Design or Engineering Technology (or equivalent).

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Design or Engineering Technology or equivalent experience required.
• Experience with SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, Pro/Engineer or CAD/AutoCAD.
• Customer driven, innovative and quality-minded in performance of all assigned duties.

Responsibilities

• Produce designs and documentation using CAD systems.
• Document parts and bills of materials (BOM).
• Lead small segments of large projects with responsibility for completion of assignments.
• Identify and correct design issues and maintain design standards.
• Travel to various locations to support products or train personnel.
