Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an Electrical Designer III to design electrical systems for water-cooled and air-cooled chillers. You will develop schematics, wiring diagrams, and 3D wiring harness models, while collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to meet project goals.

The role requires CAD proficiency (SolidWorks/Creo/Inventor/AutoCAD) and at least five years of relevant experience. Onsite work schedule with flexible location options is provided through the workweek.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Design or Engineering Technology or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience using computer aided graphic solutions.
• Experience with CAD/CAE tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, Pro/Engineer or AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Electrical design and schematic development for HVAC systems.
• Create wiring diagrams and top-level schematics.
• Route and model 3D wiring harnesses in Creo Parametric.
• Create and maintain bill of materials for electrical assemblies.
• Prepare, review, and maintain electrical design documentation.
