Job summary

Teksky LLC is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for a hybrid role in Clearwater, FL. You will develop electrical designs and construction documentation for various building projects and coordinate across teams.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit, and the ability to work in a hybrid environment. Experience with load calculations and code compliance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience designing electrical systems for commercial, residential, industrial, or similar buildings.
• Knowledge of electrical design principles, power distribution, and applicable codes.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical power distribution, lighting, and building electrical systems.
• Prepare load calculations, panel schedules, one-line diagrams, and electrical layouts.
• Develop and coordinate electrical drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Review plans, specifications, and applicable electrical codes for compliance.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, project managers, and other consultants.
• Participate in site visits and assist with construction-related design issues.
• Support projects from initial concept and design through construction.
• Contribute to design standards and emerging technologies such as solar and home automation.
