Job summary
Gulf Coast Electrical Design (GCED) is a full-time Electrical Design Engineer role based in Clearwater, FL, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. You will develop electrical designs and layouts for commercial, residential, and specialty projects, prepare drawings and specifications, and perform load calculations and power distribution planning.

Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in electrical design and design engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; PE licensure or EIT preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop electrical designs and layouts for commercial, residential, and specialty projects.
- Prepare drawings and specifications and perform load calculations and power distribution planning.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors and other engineering disciplines; review plans for code compliance and constructability.
- Support project documentation, permitting, design revisions, RFIs, and on-site construction support.
