Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer EIT/PE in Salt Lake City, hybrid work arrangement, to design electrical power and lighting systems for institutional and commercial buildings. Ideal candidates will have 5-8+ years in engineering consulting and proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities include developing electrical designs from concept through construction, producing calculations and layouts, and coordinating with architecture, mechanical, and other disciplines.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• EIT Required, PE License Desired.
• 5-8+ years of experience in designing and managing MEP projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit software.
• Proven experience designing power and lighting building systems on complex projects.
• Develop electrical designs from concept through completion of construction.
• Prepare engineering design calculations and layouts.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and narratives.
• Coordinate electrical design requirements with architecture, mechanical, and other disciplines.
