Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics.
• Willingness to learn and use engineering processes and techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, lean, collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a team to achieve objectives.
• Experience with Siemens Capital electrical system toolsets preferred.
• Experience with 3D CAD, especially Creo preferred.
• Travel up to 10% is possible.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and integration of electrical systems/architectures and electronic components for heavy-duty commercial trucks utilizing Creo Parametric and Mentor Graphics.
• Design and document wire harness assemblies using the Siemens Mentor Graphics tool suite.
• Coordinate aspects of small to large engineering projects following PCP methodology and Design for Six Sigma tools to quality standards (SAE/ISO).
• Use Windchill and PCMS for product data control from inception through engineering design, manufacturing, service and disposal.
• Create engineering documentation including component drawings, diagrams, and change documentation.
• Test coordination, manufacturing support, and customer technical support.
