Job summary

PACCAR Inc. is seeking an Associate Electrical Design Engineer - Core Electrical to design, develop, and integrate electrical systems for heavy‑duty trucks. You will use Creo Parametric and Mentor Graphics to create wire harnesses and drive product data control from concept to production.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics, strong teamwork and communication, and a willingness to learn engineering processes. Travel up to 10% is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and integration of electrical systems for heavy‑duty trucks.
• Design and document wire harness assemblies using Siemens Mentor Graphics.
• Coordinate projects per PCP and Six Sigma quality standards.
• Use Windchill/PCMS for product data control from concept to disposal.
• Create engineering drawings, diagrams, and change documentation.
• Provide test coordination and manufacturing/customer support.
