Job summary

PACCAR's Kenworth Truck Company in Kirkland, WA is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design and integrate electrical systems for heavy-duty trucks. You will use Creo Parametric and Mentor Graphics, and document wire harnesses with Siemens tools.

Develop components using Windchill/PCMS for data control, create drawings and diagrams, and coordinate testing, manufacturing support, and customer tech support. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and integration of electrical systems/architectures and electronic components for heavy-duty commercial trucks utilizing Creo Parametric and Mentor Graphics.
• Design and document wire harness assemblies using the Siemens Mentor Graphics tool suite.
• Coordinate aspects of small to large engineering projects following PCP methodology and Design for Six Sigma tools to quality standards (including SAE and ISO).
• Use of Windchill and PCMS for product data control from inception through engineering design, manufacturing, service and disposal.
• Create engineering documentation including component drawings, diagrams, and change documentation.
• Test coordination, manufacturing support, and customer technical support.
