Job summary

CareerPros, LLC is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design, test, and improve electrical systems for industrial equipment. You will manage projects from initial design through production launch, build prototypes, troubleshoot, and ensure safety and certification standards are met.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 2–5 years in electrical design. Proficiency with AutoCAD and PLC programming is valued. This is a full-time direct hire with company benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 2–5 years of experience in electrical design or industrial product development preferred.
• Experience creating and modifying wiring diagrams using AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with UL and CSA standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, modify, and release wiring diagrams, BOMs, and testing procedures.
• Manage engineering projects from concept through prototyping to production launch.
• Identify, source, and specify electrical components.
• Support prototype builds, testing, troubleshooting, and product improvements.
• Work with purchasing, suppliers, customers, and cross‑functional engineering teams.
• Develop and modify PLC control programs using manufacturer software.
• Research alternative components and processes to improve quality and reduce costs.
• Conduct certification testing and maintain compliance documentation.
• Support certification audits and participate in technical standards committees.
