Job summary

Pepco is seeking an engineer to develop designs, layouts and drawings for utility infrastructure projects across Exelon facilities. The role includes field engineering and coordinating with customers for installation and modification work.

The position requires interpreting engineering standards, and may include extended hours during storms or emergencies to ensure reliable energy delivery.

Qualifications

• Analysize and interpret electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of construction, operations or engineering principles and practices.
• Familiar with regulations, codes, standards and practices for discipline installations.
• Proficient in CAD and related drawing tools.

Responsibilities

• Develops designs, layouts, drawings and BOM for complex utility infra projects.
• Coordinate engineering and construction for New Business installations, removals and relocations.
• Interpret and apply engineering standards and memos to projects.
• Support customer and company systems with technical studies and plans.
