Job summary

Responsibilities include multi-layer PCB development in Zuken, creating clear schematics, documenting cable assemblies, and validating performance. Travel (<5%) may be required; strong communication and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required.
• 3+ years in electrical design for instrumentation.
• Experience with PCB schematic capture and layout in Zuken or equivalent.
• Strong EMC/EMI mitigation knowledge.
• Experience with regulatory compliance (CE/UL/CSA).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Combine modules into cohesive instrument designs.
• Develop and optimize multi-layer PCBs in Zuken.
• Create modular schematics reflecting modern design patterns.
• Model and document cable assemblies with BOMs.
• Interface sensors and ensure reliable data exchange.
• Implement and troubleshoot digital protocols.
• Apply shielding and grounding for CISPR/IEC compliance.
• Manage power path design and safety.
• Build and test NSP instrument prototypes.
• Develop and execute validation plans.
• Seek modular design and automation to streamline cycles.
• Travel domestically or internationally (<5%).
• All other duties as assigned.
