Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for a permanent, on-site role in Gloucester, UK. You will design electrical systems for standard and special purpose machines, creating schematics, BOMs and detailed layouts, and you will work closely with mechanical and software teams to meet customer specs.

Minimum three years in electrical design within engineering/manufacturing is required, with experience in PLCs and compliance to relevant standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience in electrical design in engineering/manufacturing.
• Experience designing electrical control systems, wiring diagrams and circuit layouts.
• Familiar with UK/European electrical standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for standard and bespoke machines, including schematics and BOM.
• Prepare and present designs at reviews; ensure compliance and safety.
• Liaise with mechanical/software teams; provide onsite support as needed.
