Job summary

L3Harris Technologies Power Systems is seeking a Specialist, Electrical Engineering to drive advanced electrical sub-systems for U.S. Navy shipbuilding programs.

You will lead design across the lifecycle—from concept through testing, integration, and production—while partnering with internal teams and customers to ensure reliability and mission readiness. The role requires hands-on hardware development, PCB/layout collaboration, and documentation of design approaches, test plans, and results.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in electrical hardware design and development.
• Experience with electronics analysis, circuit design, BOM development, schematic capture, PCB layout, and hardware integration.
• Experience with power electronics, power switching devices, and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts across the full product lifecycle from concept through production.
• Design analog, digital, and power electronics circuitry to meet system requirements.
• Collaborate with PCB designers on board layout for prototype and production hardware.
• Develop technical documentation and present results to reviewers and customers.
• Interface with customers and internal teams to support circuit operation and testing.
