The role requires 7+ years of DoD/Navy/federal program experience, with shipboard systems, CAD, and FMEA familiarity, and may require travel up to 25% with an active DoD Secret clearance.
Support the design, integration, and production engineering of Navy ship electrical systems, including power distribution, propulsion, pulsed loads, protection, and safety and control features. Coordinate with government stakeholders, shipyards, and multidisciplinary teams; develop and review technical documentation and analyses; and contribute to design reviews and shipbuilding process improvements.
Requires at least 7 years of experience supporting DoD, Navy, or federal programs, with relevant military systems, shipbuilding, shipyard, detailed design, CAD, and FMEA experience. A related bachelor's degree is preferred, but may be waived with 10 years of experience; applicants must hold or be able to obtain an active DoD Secret clearance and be able to travel up to 25%.
