Job summary

Astec is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a world-class hardware and controls software team. You will develop electrical hardware designs, build schematics, PCB layouts, and junction box concepts for our asphalt, concrete and industrial heating platforms.

You’ll work with cross-functional teams to drive reliability and performance with plug-and-play wiring harnesses and robust design reviews. This role requires a BS in electrical/electronic engineering, knowledge of NEC/UL508A, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of NEC, UL508A and electrical safety standards.
• Experience with control systems design and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical hardware designs and schematics for control systems.
• Lead cross-functional design reviews and ensure manufacturability.
• Create PCB layouts, junction box designs, and wiring harness routing.
• Coordinate testing and validation with engineering teams and suppliers.
• Travel for project testing and field support when required.
