Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree required in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of engineering experience.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70, NEC, and C1D2 environments.
• Experience designing 3-phase 600V and 240V power systems.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and interpret technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical diagrams and develop schematics.
• Design electrical schematics and panel layouts using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical.
• Create BOMs using AutoCAD Electrical and Excel.
• Program electronic controllers and radar devices; PLC programming is a plus.
• Provide technical support to service technicians and other departments.
• Develop design concepts to meet cost objectives and work with vendors.
• Lead design reviews, releases, and changes across cross-functional teams.
• Ensure design documents and standards are kept up to date.
