Job summary

PEC is seeking a Design Engineer in Tulsa, OK to work on multiple projects, delivering design deliverables using BIM/CAD and hand calculations. You will coordinate with internal and external design disciplines and ensure compliance with building codes and PEC standards.

Responsibilities include design and takeoff calculations, submittal reviews, site investigations, RFIs under the Project Engineer, and effective team communication. Bachelor's degree and strong CAD/BIM skills are required.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with BIM/CAD and electrical design codes.
• Ability to work independently and with others.

Responsibilities

• Design on multiple projects and prepare design deliverables per PEC standards.
• Coordinate with design staff for construction documents and specs.
• Perform design and takeoff calculations by hand and computer software.
• Organize projects and tasks to meet schedules.
• Communicate with Design Team to complete tasks.
• Review submittals, site investigations, and RFIs under the Project Engineer.
• Other duties as assigned.
