Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• PE certification preferred; LEED accreditation beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems using latest software and BIM environments.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and prepare responses with scope, schedule, and budget in mind.
• Document changes and advise project team on scope clarifications.
• Prepare data, summaries, and cost estimates for senior engineers/managers.
• Write technical reports documenting analyses and findings.
• Conduct feasibility studies for electrical equipment and systems.
• Support senior engineers in reviewing designs and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with colleagues across disciplines and attend design/construction team meetings.
• Implement ATCE quality assurance procedures in the design process.
• Serve as field engineer during construction and prepare observation reports.
