Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for the Raptor 3D Printers in Hawthorne, CA. You will own electrical systems for next‑generation LPBF printers, drive requirements, circuit design, development, qualification, and production integration.

You will work with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑reliability hardware in a fast-paced environment that directly affects engine production rates and system performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in electrical engineering or related field.
• Experience designing circuits, PCBAs and hardware.
• Proven ability to own complex electrical systems end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical hardware, PCBs, and modify for reliability and cost.
• Create fabrication documentation for PCBs.
• Own electronic hardware from development to production.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and controls teams.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for off-nominal units.
• Design test setups and perform hardware validation.
