Employment Type: Full‑time
Schedule: In office M‑F
Salary: $82,000 - $90,000. This role is also eligible for an annual performance‑based bonus. Bonus eligibility and payout are determined by role, individual performance, and company performance, and are not guaranteed.

CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer with one or more years of experience in Consulting Engineering. This candidate must have a strong and innovative technical background in Electrical Engineering. This position will work with a team of engineers and other consultants/design team members to design the electrical aspects of energy efficient buildings for various clients as well as complex infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate is a leader and is a self‑motivated individual who thrives on helping our team and clients be successful.
The position is responsible for designing electrical systems, power distribution, lighting and lighting controls, emergency power, UPS, renewable energy systems, fire alarm system, low‑voltage systems/coordination (IT, safety, security, access control), etc. all for the purpose of bidding and construction for various projects. It will involve all phases of the project and requires collaboration with a team of engineers.
