Job summary

RoShay Services in Ohio seeks an engineer to develop functional prototypes for ATV/SxS vehicles, applying innovative tech to meet business goals and ensure global vehicle quality.

You will design complex layouts with CAD, set cost targets, manage schedules, lead meetings, and support innovation and market quality through root-cause analysis and problem solving. Occasional travel and safety adherence required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in Powersports or Automotive fields.
• Leadership, communication, confidentiality and strong problem-solving skills.

• Designing complex component and system layouts using CAD software, communicating specifications through drawings, and maintaining technical documentation.
• Establishing and achieving cost targets by optimizing part/system designs and implementing cost reduction ideas.
• Managing work schedules, coordinating resources, and leading project meetings to ensure timely delivery.
• Contributing to technological innovation and supporting market quality themes through problem-solving and root cause analysis.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, with 2+ years of experience in Powersports or Automotive fields. Essential skills include leadership, effective communication, confidentiality, proficiency in FTA, FMEA, CAD, and product development schedules, along with analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Work Conditions

Involves occasional travel, primarily desk work with some physical hazards typical of office/shop environments, and overtime flexibility. Adheres to safety and departmental policies.
